The elastic recovery of the bitumen is evaluated by means of the percentage recovery of the bitumen thread formed by the stretching of bitumen specimen when it is cut down by a scissor at standard conditions. Features:-
- Made of brass /Gunmetal with the shape.
- The ends are known as clips, and the parts are known as sides of the mould.
- The dimensions of the mould shall be such that when properly assembled

B = 30.0 ± 0.1 mm
