G’ By Free Fall Apparatus:MPH-M-49
- Consists of a small solenoid type elecromagnet and a swinging gate switch each mounted on a base, 100 x 63 x 9mm. Both bases are fitted with 4mm sockets and can be readily clamped on to a 12mm diameter retort rod.
- The swinging gate switch is normally held closed by a magnet and this unit is fitted with a sensitivity adjustment screw so that the holding force can be controlled to allow the plate to fall under the slightest pressure.
- The electromagnet is suitable for either 6V or 12V operation.
- Timing intervals of less than one second are essential and the centisecond timer RE00501 is ideal for this.
- Supplied complete with bearings and instructions for use but without retort stand and base.
